What The Heck is Cameo?
Cameo is a 100% portable (and free) desktop environment built upon available freeware and open source applications for the Microsoft Windows family of operating systems. It also utilizes a modified boxCore (bbLean) shell to replace the Windows Explorer shell for a more *nix style feel. Think of it as a portable applications suite with a *box shell. Alternatively we do also offer just the Cameo shell. Feel free to browse around but make sure you don't forget to visit our 'Downloads' section to get yourself a copy of Cameo before you leave!

Hello again, the new site is almost complete but since we can't wait to release the next build we figured we would post what is done so far with the site so everyone can get their hands on the new build of Cameo. Oh, yeah I forgot to mention you can download the new builds of Cameo on our 'Downloads' page. Now that this build is released please send us some feedback about bugs or other compatibility issues at CameoPDE [at] GMail [dot] com.

A Letter From The Project Manager to All of You
Thank you all for the continued support throughout our hiatus sorting out certain matters, but once again we are back and not really giving a shit what other groups, ventures, companies, etc. have to say. You can love Cameo or hate it, but it is projects like this that push the boundaries of what can be done even by creating a compilation so to speak. Think freely, code freely, distribute freely, if you don't agree with that then there is a good chance you are on the wrong page.
Cheers!
Project Manager
